Any advice from NorCal folks to get them to respond to any request? No one answers the phone, calls back, and of course "we will have the local service center reach out" does nothing.

For those that have used Volvo Marin have they been able to honor the warranty? I have a PP rear suspension squeak and software updates are not pushing.

For any car related issues, deal only with the service center. If you can’t get an appointment at Marin soon, call Volvo Palo Alto. The Space is just a dealer trying to sell cars and earn commissions on useless service contract upsells.

Sometimes the service center (and you) need polestar customer service approval for a warranty fix. That happened with my yellowed front emblem.

I haven’t dealt with Marin but found that the techs and manager at Palo Alto are professional and know the vehicles.

@BadTrainDriver, not sure what you mean. All warranty repairs are done at Polestar certified Volvo service centers.

Much appreciated, would be nice if all dealers can service, as I don't want to head to PA during the week, but hey.. I did call Volvo Marin (sales) who said they can service Polestars but service is closed on the weekend so I couldn't actually talk to the service department.

It’s an odd structure with an odd dynamic. Polestar loudly proclaims that they don’t have dealers and no commissions, yet the Spaces are owned by dealers and all the upsells are commission based. The same dealer group that owns the Bay Area Polestar Spaces owns the Volvo dealerships that house both Volvo sales and service, and Polestar service. Yet none of the Polestar service people have met the Space people in person. Then you have Polestar CS, who is back east and tries to coordinate I don’t know what.

Easy to get dizzy and frustrated as I did early on.

I, too, regularly had Polestar CS tell me to deal with Volvo Marin directly and not get much response when I tried.

I had more luck scheduling with them once I got the email address for the service manager. Happy to share that in DM, but it may no longer be valid — I switched back to trying Volvo Palo Alto. But over the past year both Volvo Marin and Volvo Palo Alto have gotten much more difficult / much more busy.

I've gotten my polestar serviced twice at Volvo Marin. One time was to correct that squeak the OP mentioned. Both times I always had great service. Both times they provided me with either a rental or a Volvo EV loaner which was very nice.

I suggest just calling the service center there directly and let them know you have a polestar. Polestar has a kiosk within the service center.

I've been going to Volvo Marin with my Launch Edition for 1.5 years and call them every time I need warranty work or mileage based service. Reach out to them and they will answer or call you back right away. Jaden is the name of the service rep there, I cannot remember the ladies name right now but they are both very nice to work with.
