4.2.6 - better Pilot assist?

I recently went from 4.2.4 straight to 4.2.6. One of the improvements we a better pilot assist experience and how lane keeping was supposed to be more "natural" now.
Well, for me at least, it isn't - its much worse. Heres a good example. I drive a certain route almost daily and the road is good, some slight vurves, but nothing too bad, and the white lines are clear as a bell. Until the upgrade I would put it into assist mode and I never - not one - had a problem. Now its dropping in and out of lane keeping assist. this road is about 2km long and it will drop out 3 times, aways the same place. And dont get me started on automatic lane change assist. I've never got it to work to a stage where I trust it. Its a waste of time.
So, these updates we've got, 4.2.3 > 4.2.6 whilst improving some aspects, are making others worse. For me the only notable improvement was getting the iphone key, but even thats hit and miss.
Do the software devs at Polestar not read the Forums and work on stuff that really means something and thats been tested thoroughly.
Imgine if the P5 has these problems? Beautiful cars, but they need a new head of software development.

Pilot Assist has become much better for me with version 4.2.6. It anticipates other vehicles ahead more effectively and there are fewer sudden braking reactions caused by trucks in adjacent lanes. Changing lanes is no longer a struggle with the steering wheel, and it now keeps me in the correct lane without issues. Previously, things could go wrong when an extra lane appeared or near exits and on-ramps.

I have a few issues as well. When i initiate pilot assist it feels as though it tries to pull me into the left hand lane. After 30 seconds or so it corrects itself and see no issues, but on first button press and when i change lane, it feels as if i am going to be dragged into the left lane. Wondering whether it might be the lane keeping assist rather than pilot assits, but either way it is a little unnerving.

Find it works a lot better now and lane changing assist much better.

Can override and disengage the lane keeping assist by accident a lot easier now if slightly turn wheel to let it know I'm still holding on. If could turn that sensitivity down would be great and maybe stop the accidental disengagement

The only problem I have, still, with PA is that it centers the driver in the lane, not the car. Inherently you will be too close to the right (or left in those countries where applicable) and the transition from normal driving to PA will then yank you in either direction.

I use PA daily on a 38 km stretch each way and for too often it unnerves also drivers adjacent to me when the car is too close when passing. I refuse to believe that this is intentional, so I just don't know why they can't smooth it out.

It's also allowing for too much space between me and the driver in front.

Other than the above, I have no issues with PA.

I’m still waiting for an update that lets me cruise at 30mph in peace through all the speed cameras on my commute, without the constant braking just because a car is coming the other way or the road bends a little. 🙏🙏
