Won’t write in detail now, and I know from lurking here awhile that potential major problems might pop up later (climate, onboard charger, …), but at this point: it’s sublime. Edit: I’m only 650km in :)

‘25 Performance Pilot Plus in Thunder.

More later, or ask for details.

Had mine for just over a month now and also loving it! I've had some of the issues found here in the forum (mic not working, tidal not working (not using tidal anymore, using Amazon Music), some random errors on startup (charging fault/schedule service, but service couldn't find anything and car seems to charge fine), etc. So, I've had to do a few system resets but otherwise really enjoying it! Looking forward to further s/w updates and hopefully soon the processor upgrade which should continue to refine the vehicle.

No. I Believe these are infrared coatings, and the cars produced in China versus the cars produced in South Carolina has slightly different coating colors and even coverage area.

I suspect this is done to keep the car cooler, which means it uses less energy, and I even think it might be helping to protect the fabric on the dashboard

Love mine, delivery was good and problems soon went away. I am blessed with an amazing dealer who really looks after us Polestar drivers. I had to call them out and he stayed 5 hours eventually tracing the fault and fixing on site. There is always room for improvement but I'm noy changing and looking forward to a 5 when I renew in a couple of years

I’ve had the car since early October 2024 and have driven more than 16,000 km. The hardware is superb, and while there were a few soft resets during the first few months, they were minimal. Since 2025, I haven’t had any software issues at all. The car is incredibly comfortable and a joy to drive.

The software could still benefit from a bit more functionality—things like better controls for the side mirrors, more steering wheel features, and more advanced automatic parking options would be nice (though the 360° parking cameras are great). However, these are definitely not deal-breakers for me when it comes to purchasing the car.

The autopilot is fantastic, offering a smooth and reliable experience, while the seating comfort is outstanding—definitely one of the best I’ve experienced. And the sound system? Excellent! It's the kind of sound quality that makes you want to stay in the car just to enjoy the music.

Regarding consumption, it’s surprisingly efficient, especially considering the size and weight of the car combined with the 21” wheels. In the summer, reaching 550 km is achievable as long as you keep an eye on your speed, even with highway driving. The software’s reliability regarding range is solid—it’s accurate enough to trust without second-guessing.

One-pedal driving: I absolutely rely on it, and it would be a deal-breaker for me if a car didn’t have one-pedal drive.

I agree with pretty much everything hco writes here. Had the car since Dec24. Have driven it almost 20.000km. Yes, have had s/w and h/w issues - and still some smaller s/w glitches - but no dealbreakers and just love the car. I actually stopped using one-pedal driving, though, in favour of smoother driving on roads when NOT using autopilot - and using "autopilot" whenever possible. Found that the regen braking made the car lurch a bit too much for passengers. And I read somewhere that you also get regen when you brake manually, so the difference on consumption isn't huge - hope that's true :).

I recently had the RP1063 recall repair completed. While they had the car (about 4 business days) I drove a rental car they provided and one of my dad's. While they are about as opposite as you can get, they provided a nice contrast to the P3 and what makes it great.

Rental car was a Nissan Versa. I haven't driven a basic econobox like this in a very long time. Surprisingly quiet, decent ride, backup cams, CarPlay...but the seats were not great, and no power. Didn't enjoy driving it (surprise) so switched to my dad's Maserati Ghibli for a couple of days. It's not really my thing but I can appreciate it's charms - beautiful design, lovely engine noise (and quick), nice leather everywhere, comfortable, and more, but I don't think they got the suspension setup right.

So one anemic and one quick (for an ICE car) but how did it feel to get back in the P3? Effortless is the word that comes to mind. The P3 is just effortless. The cabin is just a great place to be with really comfortable seats, nice sound system, decent tech etc. But driving the car, at any speed, is just effortless with gobs of power to spare and it glides in a way that ICE cars just can't (with OPD off which I do for highway driving). I've also been fortunate that I haven't really had much in the way of issues with either the hardware or software - some minor annoyances most of which were ironed out a few releases ago and nothing major to speak of.

I have about 16,000km on the car since last Dec on a 4 year lease. No idea what I will do when that finishes but I cannot imagine going back to an ICE. Sadly, adoption here in Canada isn't great and infrastructure is lagging. I'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I'm very much enjoying the P3.

And I agree with what both of you said the car is a dream. My friends are amazed, and I too have been lucky no real issues beyond a microphone that needs the reset to work or reinstalling TIDAl once a week.

It would be awesome if Polestar continued to invest in finishing the software there’s literally just software things left and we’ll see a big uptick in functionality. This is what I saw with my 2022 model Y Tesla just kept adding features right up until June when I traded it in for the Polestar 3 PPP
