Contact CS, and have them remove the acitivity key from the list of keys assigned to the car. Then once done you can go and pair the apps as required as car will not be looking for that key. Only issue you will have is if you find the key reassigning it may require a workshop visit and a charge.

Oh fun fact for all of you. I was actually needing to do it for a customer here in the US and we didn't really know how to proceed so we just erased every key that was in the car and re-added the ones that were left. Yes it's possible as all you need is VIDA. If they're telling you that you can't then it probably just means that they haven't experienced it before but it is possible.
