Whilst I don’t like it, it’s still better than some mods I’ve seen on other P2s. Regardless of what I and others think as long as you like it and enjoy it, that is all that matters.
Typically asking opinions on modifications is usually met with the same disdain on many different platforms, for me, the lines of the P2 are as good as they get, but modifications are all about the owner and not the wider general public opinion.
Having to daily drive several kilometers of unpaved road to my house is indicating that the PS2 generates a substantial vacuum at the rear. This is evidenced by the large amount of dust or mud that accumulates on the rear and makes the backup camera useless most of the time.
My ICE car accumulates only a fraction of the debris than the PS2.
I would love to improve this dirt/mud situation and came upon this post in the fb Polestar Mods group.
With the author's permission, I am pasting his post below:..
2023/26/01 : UPDATED WITH CAMERA PIC (showing the cam after 150km of driving in rain on dirty country roads and freeway)
So! I got around to my first Polestar Mod.
Some may like it, some may not.
It is an arrangement made with the inventor and the purpose is longer range for my DMLR.
If it works (as it seems to according to my short trial), I want them in the car's color and a bit more in line with the car's back line, even though 100% aligned isn't an option due to effect.
I will also be getting some for under the car.
Feel free to discuss the looks. I myself focus on the idea and effect. If painted, I think I like the looks too. #batmobile
And as per agreement:

Dealers are listed there (in DK) -else try to contact.
I may try those plastic Danish geese to see if they got their aerodynamics right and improve the mud collection on the camera and possibly the energy efficiency.
I've got an order on an ioniq6 and it has better range with a similar battery pack due to the aerodynamics. There is probably some room for improvement though I don't know enough about aerodynamics to judge what might make it more efficient.
