I'm in Hawaii now on a Thanksgiving getaway vacation. This would be the perfect place for a P2 - really any EV. But I've only seen two Teslas - a model S and a model Y. Gas is ridiculously high here and the drives are of necessity short distance. With a home EVSE you would probably never need to public charge.
I love my Polestar, but without a dedicated Polestar service center in Hawaii, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing one out here. I’d figure technicians at Cutter would work on only a handful of EVs a year, let alone a Polestar. Shipping car parts out here is insanely pricey and can takes months to arrive, which is why the market skews towards Japanese (with Korean cars with the highest growth).
