I still don't have the stones to do this myself, but really want it done--particularly with exceptional pictures of the finished product like you folks have posted. Sigh....I'm feeling kinda smug after showing the detailer my console wrap this morning. He couldn't believe that it was a DIY job. They have done tons of console wraps on Teslas, so he understood the process well.

Take a look at mine - it's a bit more modern/subtle than carbon fibre?I feel like the carbon fiber finish wouldn't match as well with the lighter wood accents of the leather interior.
Any thoughts of a wrap color/texture that would?
I'm already finding the smudginess of the piano black is annoying but don't know what I'd replace it with!
oooooh....that's a nice complement to the fabric along the sides.....Take a look at mine - it's a bit more modern/subtle than carbon fibre?

I don't know what the 3M part is, but I used a laptop top cover skin from dbrand - it's their 'matrix' covering. MacBook Pro 15" (2016-2019, Touch Bar) Skins, Wraps & Covers » dbrandoooooh....that's a nice complement to the fabric along the sides.....

Where did you buy it, @mroek? I tried searching for it but couldn't find it in the usual places.I bought it locally here in Norway
do you have a part# or item name? That looks great!I bought it at Clas Ohlson, but other shops also carry it (like Megaflis).
In my post I actually linked to Amazon, but the link was in the text, so somewhat hidden. Anyways, here's the link again:do you have a part# or item name? That looks great!
