With the frosty mornings more and more common, has anyone got any tips or tricks to keep the scheduled heating working? It still seems complete chance whether it will work or not. I know that to get the best chance you need to have 1 schedule rather than 2 as it completely bombs out then.

Mine was working fine Mon & Tue but not today and the only difference was that it was plugged in. Anyone else found it wont pre heat when plugged in?

Mine doesn't work with more than 1 schedule set. I thought it was an issue which only affected a few of us.
My car was in at Volvo yesterday for a few issues. The technician informed me that all Polestars are affected by the multiple schedule refusal. It can only fire up once a day (tell me about it). Just need to wait for the automotive Cialis to be invented.
BTW today is Thursday!!!!! No wonder your car gets confused with you driving it!

A little update on what I believe may be causing the scheduled pre heating to stop working:

I noticed when my 4G dropped the time and date was completely wrong when driving about, it corrected as soon as the 4G came back. I wonder if the 4G drops overnight it messes up the cars time and date and then the preheat doesent work. I have noticed on multiple occasions when the car first turns on in the morning, the time does display 02:00 - 04:00AM (actually being 6:15AM) before quickly correcting to the right time. I can only assume the 4G/GPS dropped at some point in the night and the system is behind until its physically switched on. I have recently had a bad spell of no 4G/GPS hence noticing it during the day. The time only self corrects if I wake up to a working 4G.

To further test the theory I have switched the time and date to manual (not set by GPS) and will now see if the preheating works more consistently.

EDIT: Just to note, when I say 4G drops I think its more the GPS which I believe is what we call the 'hollow triangle'.

This chap knows what he’s talking about!
I set all my morning & evening schedules, ticked weekly, came out of work to a toasty car!
Then I summoned the power of google for the best route home & noticed an empty triangle. No 4G.
Sorry to throw a Spaniard in the works

It sounds like it should be fixed in the new OTA update (Jan 2021).

FWIW - I think the car uses the GPS/4G module to wake the car when needed for preconditioning timers etc. The car also has it's own built-in timer for sleep states (i.e. it wakes in the morning Mon-Fri and has some rules about going into a deep sleep if left for >72 hours). I believe the problem might be due to the interaction between these. If the GPS/4G module drops out entirely then maybe it can't wake the car to the schedule etc.?

Having had the November update I was feeling very smug one icy morning in the certain knowledge that I would be greeted by a warm car. My wife's irritation turned to glee when I discovered that it was just as frozen as hers leaving me with two cars to scrape down.

I have no 4G (hollow triangle) but scheduled heating works fine. Go figure.

Let this be a lesson to you... Avoid being smug around your wife. No good will ever come of it.

Last night I set my heating schedule for 7am, but when I got in the car I was presented with an exciting new orange message!!!!! (unfortunately the message disappeared before my nervous, trembling fingers had chance to take a pic)
Parking Climate Unavailable. Charge Level Too Low.
Battery was at 71%.
I'll give you all a little time to process this breaking news.

Define climate.

Maybe you just have a bad attitude and the car sensed it.
