still waiting to hear from my body corporate in regards to permission to install a charger so havent really looked into it much. Though i only need basic charging not solar or battery backup or anything like that. Hopefully ill know one way or the other soon as it went to vote yesterday.

Weird, would've thought the Gen 3 would be locked to the Tesla ecosystem...

That's what I would have thought too, but it's apparently not. Does single phase and 3 phase in the same box, is fairly small and sleek, and costs AUD 750. If you don't need fancy features, it seems hard to beat.

I think I'm gonna go the Ocular. It's about $400 cheaper than the Zappi with similar features. The Tesla one has wifi, but no way to use said wifi to track usage, weirdly enough.

Mine has been at Erskine Park since January 2nd. Fully paid for and contract signed from my end. Every interaction has been instigated by me. First and last time I buy a car this way, next time I want a dealer I can look in the eye and hold accountable.

My advice is as soon as it hits Erskine Park, pay for it, make sure all of your details are complete, sign the contract and let them know you know it is there and ask what they are doing about it.

I've already paid all but 25K, which I was planning on paying once it was in Brisbane. For me the ordering and waiting experience has been fine I prefer online shopping to physical stores, but obviously it's a personal preference.

Can anyone clue me in on what exactly happens and why the cars have to be at Erskine Park? Mine arrived there yesterday similar to @Diabolus and what has been happening to @Max_Mason fills me with trepidation. I am really hoping the estimated arrival of the car at Altona in VIC which is scheduled for 01/02/2023 stays true. My finance company finalized payment yesterday, I already signed the contract and as far as I am aware the next step is will now have to be initiated by the dealer.
I plan on going on a pestering exercise next week with the support team and make sure there continues to be movement, it feels so near and yet so far... 🥺

Yes - there is misery out there for other vehicle buyers too. I have a new SUV caught up in the quarantine’s since the 5th, and allegedly only due to arrive at the dealer end of next week.

And in these scenarios the physical dealer is not much better at comms than Polestar Customer Support.

It may be possible that they are waiting for enough Polestars to move them up to the final destination? Then again if it is quarantine, wouldn't it still be at the wharfs? It is abysmal regardless, the waiting process is like being stuck in purgatory.

On that topic of moving, my car is still on the wharfs apparently (according to Ceva's log anyway). Possibly some headway this coming week since no annoying midweek public holidays to interrupt plans. Again here is to hopping.

Not sure about Erskine Park. Could be making room at Port Kembla as others say.
CEVA tracking for me was accurate, and the vehicle arrived at Altona on the day CEVA first said it would arrive.
Mine went from Port Kembla to Minto to Truganina to Altona. That entire journey took less than two days, and it didn't sit long at any of the intermediate locations.
As to how long it sits at Altona, that is another story ...
