Recommended apps to find EV charging stations near you are listed nearly everywhere online, but I want to know from personal experience which apps should be used. Although I'm located in Canada, its best we keep this open to all of North America and even Europe.
Here's a list of best EV apps that I found to be helpfull:

I'm in North America and Volta is another useful one here. Volta chargers often appear in the Plugshare app, but not always, and only the Volta app shows you the live status of whether a charger is taken or available.

I have identified an interesting app. In order to be able to recharge on the charging stations in Europe, it is usual to have at least 2 to 3 recharge cards. But at the same terminal the rates are sometimes double. Chargeprice shows you which plan or card is the most advantageous.

Did anyone else in the UK just get an email from Polestar, promising free Polar Plus membership for a year, and a £450 BP Chargemaster credit?

I like ABRP most as it has a real good trip planner with many settings you can modify to your liking.

Love this app: https://pumpapp.co/

Why? Love the instant notifications I get for my favourite charging points when occupied or free again. Also the dev is on Twitter and open to new features. Asked him if he can do and AAOS version and if we can have an iOS tile that displays the status of your favourite charging point. Give it a try!

Oh dear! Yes it is Europe only it seems, but I recall seeing a US screenshot. Will send a DM to the devs to ask about Android and the UK. They only recently launched and seem to be based in Berlin, Germany.
