I hope to test drive a Polestar 2 with a performance package back to back with a BMW i4 M50 this coming week. I am just curious if anyone has done this comparison head to head. I found a few articles on both, but nothing with a direct comparison even from professional outlets or "high-end" Youtuber-types.
If you have driven both, would you kindly share your impressions of the driving dynamics specifically? I have only driven a Polestar 2 without the performance package and while I didn't have a problem with the performance, I was not overly impressed with the handling or pedal feel.
I am not looking for value comparisons. I know the trim and options available. Looks. Price differences.
I am strictly wondering what to focus on pros/cons good/bad of both. I really want to like the Polestar 2 or even go out of my way to get the BST 270 which is hard, but not impossible. I feel like that would more of a direct comparison to the I4 M50, but it seemed like a longshot too find someone who has driven both.
