This is the most 'planted car' I have driven. My wife's MINI spins the wheels easily which, when we're used to the fuss free acceleration of the Polestar, is irritating. Bringing my daughter back from Guides tonight she spontaneously said how much she liked the car, for which I rewarded her with a launch control start in a quiet street. Giggles ensued followed by fond reminiscences of Oblivion at Alton Towers and SheiKra at Busch Gardens. Not missing ICE one bit.

I did get a bit of wheelspin with my FWD on the Nokian R5 winer tires on wet surfaces, but the traction control takes care of it quickly. I also have some spin at intersections covered in road salt dust. Some wheelsmen and leave a bit of a clous behind me, lol.

For the few days I had the car before I had to switch to the winters, I did not experience any wheelspin on the OEM summer tires.
