Anybody else experiencing this.
In polestar privacy under connected safety I keep getting the message that I need to login to my polestar account…. Which I am. Logging out and back in + reset of infotainment does not help. App and website do not offer such option to switch on connected safety ?

I had this problem and I had managed to remove my polestar account from the place where you also give the Spotify account.

You have to go your profile and click accounts to add a polestar account

Aha? You meant you already updated?
Have you tried to re-login to polestar account?

I've had this too (am in the UK). Pre-update there was a Polestar account associated with my user. 2.7 update seems to have removed it. But the extra wrinkle I've got is that it won't let me add my Polestar account back onto my user. It just says check username/password (which I've done...)

Called PS support. They said take it to a Space. So much for OTA.

Would they have pulled the update because of this? Early this morning it asked me permission to download, i gave it permission and it said it would take 90 minutes. Just checked and it says I'm still on 2.5 with no signs that it downloaded or even asked me.

Yeah noticed the same thing, PS account had silently disappeared from my profile. The other associated accounts were still there as before. Weird. Anyway, now I managed to enable connected safety.

Honestly don't remember. This is my first OTA. But I had a little cloud in my top right corner, then it said there was new software and I hit agree twice and it said it would take up to 90 minutes. Now it's like that never happened and the little cloud is gone but I'm still on 2.5.

Did you lock the car and leave it alone? Did you see the green check mark after the infotainment booted up when you got back in? If not, check the notification shade (drag down from the top white line on the infotainment screen) and see if the update is still waiting to install.

So I was out running an errand when I noticed the cloud icon. Hit it, it gave me the prompt and I accepted the stuff. it told me i had to be parked or something so i was like "oh it will just start when I get home and leave the vehicle." Got home, locked the vehicle and left it for many hours. Now it's like that never existed. No prompt, no cloud in the corner, no notification, no "installation failed, try again". Says I'm "up to date" with 2.5. I'm getting signal where I'm parked so doesn't seem to be the issue. I guess I'll see if it shows up again tonight when I'm out.

I have the same issue I’m on 2.7 but the car shows 2.5 I’ve been In contact with polestar support it’s a bug

Strange. I tried to remove my profile - successfully. Then added it back - successfully but it keeps saying I need to login
Gave car an overnight sleep, reset infotainment again. No change.

Yes i have the exact same issue.

I'm in the same boat - successful update to 2.7, try to activate connect safety and it's greyed out - check and Polestar account is no longer connected - try to log in to Polestar account and it won't let me.

I updated on Saturday, and yesterday (Wednesday), it allowed me to reconnect to my Polestar account, so I have now been able to activate connect safety. Perhaps there's some kind of backend data replication/housekeeping job that has to run (though I did also open a case with Polestar support).

PAK still doesn't work, but it didn't work pre-upgrade, so no change there...

Bummer, sounds like you had one of the relatively rare silent fails. Might be worth calling/emailing/chatting support. I think there's a way they can check to see if a car's update actually failed if I remember right.
