CSV will now continuously feed data to the ABRP servers, even when running in the background. No need to have ABRP open und running (not even installed on the car) for proper consumption calculation.

I’ve not used ABRP much, but what exactly does this new feature do? Improves ABRP range/battery/charging estimates as you drive?

Improves ABRP range/battery/charging estimates as you drive?

CSV feeds ABRP with real-time consumption data and improves (enables might be a better word, unless you usually have ABRP running in the foreground) your personal reference consumption which is used for these calculations when planning a trip.

As a side effect, you can see (and export) your trips with route and consumption data in ABRP.

This feature is currently still under development and needs some more testing and fine tuning. I can't say yet when I will release the next update since I have some more points on my agenda I want to tick off before then.

Having been fighting with ABRP on a road trip today (its calculated SOC at destination were pessimistic by 12-15 pts), I can’t wait for this enhancement to go live!
