Glovebox cutouts? Luxury!
My '88 Porsche 911 has 0 cupholders.
Porsche refused to put any cupholders in their flagship 911 until 1999 and then it was a single flimsy little flipout designed to punish you for the temerity of wanting to drink a beverage while driving.
Then again, getting into the car with a hot cup of coffee in hand is an acrobatic challenge.

The only post-2000 car I can remember not having them was an E46 325Ci we bought in 2003, and that was only because my then wife-to-be made a fuss about them when we test drove one, and the BMW salesman forcefully pointed out that it was a sports car, and didn’t need cupbolders!
