charging at US National Parks

Just was at Pinnacles NP today (no P*2, still waiting for that OTA). Noticed the visitor center has a clippercreek charger hooked up to pay through Liberty Hydra, which was a new one for me. This particular one was 32A. Potentially useful if using a trailhead from a visitor center I presume.

Looking around online, seems NP use of Liberty Hydra started in 2016 or so when the EV chargers from the National Park energy upgrades started coming online.

Apparently the iOS app still doesn’t support iPhone X, 11, 12 style displays and has a lot of negative reviews.

You can also pay by going up to the visitor center cashier and purchasing a code to enter. In case anyone missed the old days of doing that at gas stations — it’s back!

Edited to add: Pinnacles NP East Visitor Center has the two EV spots. Went to West side yesterday, no charging at any of the day-use parking areas.
