Clunking noise when steering over bumps – Polestar 2 (135,000 km / ~83,900 miles)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Polestar 2 (135,000 km ≈ 83,900 miles). Whenever I steer and go over a small bump, I hear and feel a clunking noise.

It happens both when turning left and right, and it’s noticeable inside the cabin as well as outside the car.

Could this be related to suspension components (bushings, control arms, sway bar links, struts), or maybe something with the steering rack? Has anyone else had similar symptoms at higher mileage?

I’ve uploaded two short videos to demonstrate the problem: one filmed from inside and one from outside.

Any advice or shared experiences would be much appreciated!

Mine has this noise following strut mount replacement on both sides. (could not hear before the replacement, only after they replaced the mount did this appear). I suspect something was disassembled when they replaced the mounts and not put back correctly (bump stop?) or incorrect alignment of spring. It's back in next week as the techs can hear it. I'll let you know if it gets solved. They've ordered new shocks.
