Funny Story!
I cracked my front passenger rim two weekends ago. In my case this was the standard size 19" rims and its not surprising I creaked the it. I was driving on a mountain pass during a rainstorm and a small rockslide (common when it rains) left a 5" chunk of granite rock in the road. I hit it at ~40 HMP and punctured the tire bad enough to also strike the rim and crack it. Replacement rim was about the same cost and I was originally quoted a 11 day wait, but they ended up finding a replacement rim in 3 days. Go figure!
