Could be a lot of things. The link member, Gusset or side member or lower cross member when you lean back into it. Shouldn't be the foam as its covered in a coating where it wont make a noise when rubbed up against anything. Just take it back and Polestar should tell them to just replace it, if they go by Volvos standards that is.

Must be a shared Volvo part or design. As my wife’s XC90 developed this issue around 18-20k miles.
