My JSON is 16th Feb but when I spoke to Polestar this morning they said that's when it arrives in the UK
This aligns with what I have been told and observed also - My estimated delivery is 2023-01-12 which interestingly aligns with previous due date of Azul ace (now est. 2023-01-14) although no changes in JSON yet.

Also CS advised me that delivery month shown on web page is arrival month in country and the month shown on app is handover month which may explain why I (and others) see a discrepancy. I have also been advised by CS it’s due in the country first two weeks of jan with handover early feb.

One thing I can’t explain is assuming my cars on Azul Ace I see an entry on their VIN tracker but it still has all blank fields while other people on this forum have further details shown.

Without knowing the ins & outs of your order or model or spec, etc. - is it possible you could have been bumped up & having a cancellation instead of being built to order? Hence no VIN
FWIW, my order date in JSON is end of June
It’s possible i suppose - as background, I ordered LRSM with plus/pilot pack beginning of October through lease company (built to order, not pre-configured).

It was built end of November ( aligned with build date I had been given from CS earlier in the month) and shipped beginning of December. The vin I have is the one assigned post build.

I've had a VIN for about 3 weeks and it's been on the Molace tracking for the about last week or so (but showing blank, same as @Hazza17 ) I rang CS for an update and they suggested that it was at the factory and ready to be shipped but it was now going to be April for delivery. I've been waiting since June and my original delivery estimate was November. So I've kinda lost the "excitement" now...
From my own experience I’m not sure how much to read into the VIN tracking info on Molace.

My car shipped very early December and has always shown blank info on Molace. I have also been told it’s due in the next few days which aligns with arrival of two Molace ships in Bristol (one arrived today). It’s possible it may not be shipping with Molace but all the timelines align with Azul Ace.

If I change any digit in the VIN on Molace it comes back with an error.

LRDM Thunder with Pilot. I'm confused as to why it's so long as well haha. They said it was because it's on 19's and they were the issue.
I don’t get it either, i have ordered LRSM - Plus/Pilot/19” as company car.. Odered early Oct
I have a similar ETA, my estimated delivery date is the 10th March, on the chat with CS last week I was told that the car had not been shipped yet... given the shipping time to the uK , I'm starting to think that early March is optimistic
CS are very conservative with timelines which I somewhat get (exceed expectation rather than crash expectation) but I have been quoted 3-4 months to ship previously which is a little extreme.

Looking at shipping schedules it’s typically 35-60 days +/- a few but delays can be induced waiting at Shanghai and then waiting for PDI to complete UK side.

Hmmm Azul Ace went to zeebrugge, then rotterdam & now off to newcastle.
Still supposed to be arriving at Bristol on the 14th
Yes, one thing I noticed is that gracious ace was docked in zebrugge, and then moved closer (or vice Versa) to Azul ace (still in zebrugge)…. So I’m hoping that cars were moved, as Tyne was not on original Molace schedule… although Azul ace still on Bristol schedule 😬

Has your car been made?

I ordered mid September same spec as you, website currently says June delivery.
Yes - I had VIN end of November and car apparently shipped in first few days of December and due in UK mid jan (so in next few days apparently) - my timelines came in by a couple of months shortly after it was built. When I ordered the website was showing delivery in March ‘23

I expect there will be a curve ball somewhere in timelines soon!

My car shipped early december (Azul Ace) & due in Bristol on Saturday. The ship is currently in Amsterdam.
Have you tried searching RoRo with the VIN? Click the pulldown list & change Bill of Landing to VIN
Yes I have, I get a hit but it’s blank details wise and has always been this way. Also, i have never received status updates like “your car has shipped” either so not sure if this means anything. I was told by CS early December that it has “departed to UK” and is apparently due in UK mid Jan so fits well with Azul Ace but who knows…. o_O

Do you have a reg number yet?

That’s interesting - for me web says Jan, app says Feb and estimatedDeliveryDate is 2023-01-12!

Funny that, mine was on the Blanco Ace and was frustrating watching it sit in Antwerp & Zeebrugge waiting to go to Bristol.

Interesting that Bristol has it due in on 27th but MOL has it going to NEWCASTLE - TYNE CAR TERMINAL on 23rd then onto KOPER but nothing for Bristol.
This is exactly what happened with Azul Ace due into tomorrow.

  • Bristol was on the MOL schedule previously and then disappeared a little while ago,
  • NEWCASTLE - TYNE CAR TERMINAL was never originally listed and then popped up more recently
  • Azul ace then went zebrugge > Tyne > Amsterdam and now on route to Bristol!

Blanco Ace is docking on the 27th (from Zubgrugger).
Maybe the car will be moved to Blanco Ace at Zubrugger?

FWIW Azul Ace went to livorno, barcelona, zubrugger, rotterdam, newcastle, amsterdam & due at bristol today!
I wondered that with Azul Ace as they had another vessel alongside in zebrugge (I think it was) which arrived in Bristol earlier this week.

But from reading previous posts it seems like direct routes (not moving of vehicles) is now preferred. However this shipping lark is very complex! 😆

Hi all. I thought I would join in on the excitement. My JSON suggested 2023-01-12 too and I have January (web) and February (app) "other" I have no VRM yet. I decided to speak to CS for the first time as I'm keen not to pester them. They said it did arrive early this month into the UK and it takes the delivery team 3-4 weeks to prep it. Delivery estimated early Feb. So fingers crossed it preps okay and it comes soon. Hope this helps.
That’s interesting, exact same info as you including no reg yet but CS says it’s still waiting to arrive in the country, although I’m almost certain it arrived on Azul ace yesterday.

But as others have mentioned it’s a real game to try and work things out. What you think is happening, and what is happening may be completely different!

Exactly the same as you and Delzuk. Told by CS this morning that it hasn't arrived in the country yet. JSON still showing a delivery date of 12th Jan. Back to guesswork, I guess. Lol
yes seems so! Perhaps on Blanco ace which is taking a more leisurely trip over and actually left Shanghai day before Azul ace. I still question if Molace though due to blank records although they may perhaps have not enabled tracking on some orders 😐

Thanks Wagster, that’s really useful. I ordered last June after being let down by Mercedes. My car is on the Blanco Ace currently heading to Barcelona and due to dock in Bristol on 27th. JSON estimated delivery date is Feb 6th. Rather sad how I find myself tracking the ship on vessel finder.
Are you able to provide the VIN list for Blanco Ace please? My VIN appears in molace tracker but fields empty :(. I’m wondering if it appears if looking by booking number. Thanks

Polestar account still not offering a handover date but zenith randomly got in touch to say polestar had been in contact with them with a revised delivery of mid February. Checked zenith and they had date down as 02/02/23 but not sure if that's just a guess from them.
One thing to note is that fleet/leasing companies work with a dedicated fleet team in Polestar and get given estimated delivery dates via their backend systems. Polestar CS is not aware of these dates and will say that is something that the lease company has specified which i have learnt is not the case!
