My P4 here in the United States has moved to Pre-Production and instead of November-December we’re up to just November!

 

My US order, placed when the order books opened, still shows a Jan-Mar date. 🫤

But I also opted for the electrochromic roof, so....I may come to regret adding that to the order.

 

Mine is due October, apparently it’s in production now. UK order placed a little over a month ago.

 

Mine's been in production since the 28th June and is showing delivery in September. Given the shipping time I can't see it happening tbh.

 

Early August. Although the order process is broken on their website. When you attempt to complete "driver information and consent" where you upload your driver license the form does not render on the website. Called customer service and they said they can add it my order if I emailed a picture through. Having done that today I hope that early August coverts to a specific delivery date soon (in the UK).

 

My order was updated today to Pre-Production status and delivery from Jan - Feb to December.

 

When did you order and did your order include the electrochromic sunroof?

I ordered on day one, w/ electrochromic sunroof, and mine still shows as Jan-Mar.

 

I had an e-mail from them on June 7th saying 'Your Polestar 4 has rolled off the production line and will be prepared for transport shortly. We will let you know when it's loaded and on its way'...

... and tumbleweed since - not a peep out of them.

 

What status does the app/website show?

 

It's a lease vehicle so it doesn't show on my portal.

 

My order updated yesterday to Pre-Production status and delivery from Jan - Feb to December. Location is Naples Florida. LRDM Pilot & Plus. Ordered day 1. No other options.

 

I chased Polestar for an update on my P4 which has been in production for a couple of weeks and showing estimated delivery in September. Unless it's coming by speedboat one of those items can't be right. Here's the reply I've just had:

Order 114XXX is showing due to arrive in the UK around beginning of October. With this in mind, from arrival in port to delivery can be another 3-4 weeks, meaning you should expect handover at some point in November.

I hope the range estimates and the sat nav are more accurate than the rubbish onthe portal/app.

 

My order has now changed from ‘shipping’ to ‘transport’ and estimated delivery is now ‘early in August’ (previously it was saying late August). Unfortunately my current lease doesn’t end until September 23rd - nice problem to have though!

 

I just got "transport" show up on my order status. Wow!

I still can't upload my drivers license as the web portal is broken. But it seems they've added it manually after I emailed it to them.

 

I didn't realise any were being delivered that early - when did you order?

You couldn't make this up could you. Suddenly the app has updated to "shipping" and delivery "late September." Maybe I was right about the speedboat!

 

It must be one of those new cargo catamarans! My spec is similar to yours, still showing as in production for October delivery...

I'd watch the port if I were you. Would be a shame if someone filed off your VIN and replaced it with mine 😁

 

UK deliveries are into Portbury (Bristol). Not sure which Chinese port the 4's will be departing. For the 2's they tend to use either Wilhelm Wallenius or MOL shipping companies. Difficult to track if WW and you don't know the departure port, for MOL you can search on VIN number here.

If your car is being shipped by them it will tell you which vessel and it's itinerary.

 

@poundsnpence that info is fantastic you defo win the internet today . My car is on the Marvelous Ace arriving Bristol 30th Aug. How on earth Polestar customer support could advise me yesterday that car wasn't expected until November I'll never know

MOL VIN search shows that mine was on this boat and arrived in Bristol on 18 July. The order status must have gone from ‘Shipping’ to ‘Transport’ when it landed dockside.

 

Sooo... My P2 rolled off the boat in Bristol on 14th May. Was handed over to me on 8th July, so that timescale is not massively unrealistic.

I did spec the towbar on mine which adds some delay as they are fitted after landing, but I'd reckon on mid-October at the earliest if it lands on schedule (mine was nearly a week late into Bristol due to going the long way around Africa to avoid the Suez Canal, Israel/Palestine war zone)

 

Curious of what sequence numbers (end of VIN) they are up to as of yet. Here in Sweden there are like 11 pages of preconfigured cars and the one with the fastest delivery has been there for weeks now without getting ordered...

 

Yeah, this turd is totally bombing. no one is buying this stupid car.

 

The inner width of the container is 237 cm, according to the internet, and the P4 is a whopping 214 cm wide. This leaves only 11.5 cm on each side. Thankfully, there is this limit; otherwise, the car could be even wider. They will have to be very careful when putting the car inside.

Polestar order page now showing my vehicle registration number (OW24 ***). I have spoken to my lease broker - my current lease and the lease for the P4 are with Lex - the broker thinks Lex might agree to ending the current lease 30 days early, which would mean I might take delivery of the P4 around August 23rd.

 

Interesting that your order shows up on your portal and mine doesn't. Polestar have definitely linked the order to my Polestar ID (they sent an e-mail to the right address), and have given me the order number, yet I can't see my car...

 

That is strange. Once the order was placed I was sent an email by Polestar asking me to create an account and it's been plain sailing since then.

 

You're not far wrong - 'ticket raised with IT' - customer service can see my car, and can see it's attached to my Polestar ID correctly, but it's not showing up in my portal.

 

And it's fixed...
