Next Ship Update:
The Hoegh Moonlight arrived at Newport area yesterday morning and has been anchored at sea since, probably waiting for an available slot to dock at Bristol.

 

And ive been refreshing the page every hour since 7am yesterday waiting for it to dock. Hopefully i get a reg and delivery date soon.

 

Moonlight due to dock 16:15 tomorrow (22nd) for anyone tracking. Looks like they've been dredging Portbury.

 

My P4’s on the Moon Light - anyone else’s?! Was hoping for delivery by the 12th but have a feeling that will be optimistic now.

I’ve been told my car will be with the dealership next Weds (likely Fri now after shipping delay).

 

Anyone been given a reg number yet? On the moonlight ship?

 

Not yet. I had a car they didn't deliver on a ship last month - got the reg a few weeks before port arrival, so this seems later. Plates change on 1st Sept, I don't know, but wonder if that has an impact?

 

Mine was on the previous ship, the sunrise, I had a 25 plate on the order but I've deferred my delivery to 3rd Sept, now have a 75 plate so yours shouldn't be too far away

 

Mine was on the Sunrise, got a reg very quickly after it set sail on its way to Bristol.

In other news my P4 is due to arrive tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed.

 

It has arrived. Have had some difficulty with the interent connection, but Polestar are apparently on it. Been using my phone hotspot so far. Fingers crossed on that.

Other than that, had a drive around in it, feels as great as the test drive so I'm happy!

What is the issue with the internet?

Mine is due on Tuesday, getting a little excited for it now!
I ordered mine without a test drive so will be completely new to me.

 

One annoyance I've found so far, if you're wearing polarised sunglasses, you cannot see the HUD...

 

Try turning your head 90 degrees. This might not be a permanent 'fix'

Status changed to "transport" just now and got a date for collection. Yay

 

Min changed too to transport but still haven’t been given a date for delivery, hopefully will get a date soon. What date were you given? Ta

Congrats! ... I'm still waiting for deliveries to start in the US. My order claims delivery in October/November.

 

Same here in the US. I was on the Polestar reddit, and heard through the grapevine that there might be some movement for us in the USA next week? Link

Not sure what "Sales" means in that context as you can already order them. Hopefully it means we'll start to see actual delivery dates projected.

 

Anyone else on Hoegh Trapper. Just rounding Penzance arriving Portbury tomorrow in the early hours. Also noticed number plate now added to the app.

 

I have a P2 on the Hoegh Trapper. It was due in Portbury in the early hours of Sunday morning but has been doing loops since. It’s now due to dock on the afternoon high tide (16:30ish) on Wednesday 3rd September from the information contained on the Bristol Port website 👍

 

Ah thanks for the update as I have been watching it do those loops and it was getting a bit draining! I actually got offered my delivery date today so hopefully I will be enjoying it on the 23rd. Good luck with yours as well

 

The 23rd is encouraging. That’s 3 weeks approximately from docking which (from what I have read on here) seems to be possible, fantastic. Hopefully mine won’t be too far behind. 🤞

 

Hoegh Trapper is on its way in on high water tonight, ahead of the original plan. Not that I am obsessed with ship watching or anything like that .......

 

Sadly you are not the only one. It has now docked and I can see them unloading my car (not really but in my head). Hopefully you get a delivery date soon!

 

My order has been placed today via Tusker, so can't see anything in the app. Now the waiting begins!

I eventually received a delivery date (19th) and an early morning 08:00 delivery time. For those who have recently had their cars delivered, is this time just an AM/PM placeholder, or was it actually delivered close to the agreed timeslot?

 

I think they just issue morning or afternoon slots using 8am and 1pm as the times. You should get a call on the day when they are about an hour away.

 

My P4 - LRDM Performance pack / Pilot model due to be delivered to my UK home address tomorrow at 9am (23rd Sept). Although I have had some correspondence saying "Morning".

The app told me it shipped but the Molace site didnt recognise it... finally found that the Hoegh site did...
Cargo Tracking | RoRo Tracking and it is apparently on the Hoegh Jeddah which was due to land in Bristol today. (it's circling in the bristol channel at the moment I guess due to tides or waiting for space at the port.

My app has the planned reg and is showing as delivery early Oct. but I guess that could still be 3 weeks away as others seem to be reporting from arrival in port to delivery... anyone else know if their car on this vessel?

Yep mines was on there, it finally docked Friday evening, unloaded and is now on its way to Zubbrugger. Fingers crossed for a swift turnaround..

 

Mine was on the Hoegh Trapper which finally started offloading around 3rd Sep (it was waiting for a berth for about a week after arrival) and I have a delivery date of 26th although I do know some others on this forum have already started to receive so its 3 weeks on average I think from offloading to delivery
