Looks more like a stretched Range Rover defender (new one) than a P3 to me.
More like a threesome with Kryten from Red Dwarf.Looks like a P3 and an R1S got it on. 🤢
Not too distintictive….I like the look of it. It’s distinctive yet modern. It’s thankfully not like a typical egg or bean shaped EV or like a crazy folded and slashed form from Lexus.
The chunky form with angular planes and chamfers vaguely reminds me of the Volvo Concept 40.2 (or P*3) which is not a bad thing. From the side profile it could be a more upright (non-coupe SUV) full-sized P*3.
We recently bought a Kia Sorento PHEV and it cost the same as my Polestar LRDM PP. Kia is no longer just a value brand.i mean don’t all 7 seat SUVs look somewhat similar? It’s definitely more boxy than the 3 though.
Depending on price though, this will probably be a better value proposition than Volvo EX90 or Polestar 3. To be fair neither of them want to be known as the “Value” brand anyway, but I imagine there will be many people cross-shopping them all.
Nope, but it should beWe recently bought a Kia Sorento PHEV and it cost the same as my Polestar LRDM PP. Kia is no longer just a value brand.
It takes a long time to change the image of a company once it has been established. KIA has been established as a cheap value brand and raising prices and quality will not change that perspective in the short or medium term. You won’t see people switching to them from MB, BMW, Volvo unless their circumstances have changed and can no longer afford their vehicle or choice.Nope, but it should be![]()
Definitely very true.It takes a long time to change the image of a company once it has been established. It is far easier to start as a luxury brand and offer value lines and models than to start as a value and upgrade to luxury.
finally no matter how it looks a cheap brand will always struggle with quality and kia interior quality normally leaves a lot to desire.
Really? You think this busy ergonomic mess is equal in many ways to the Polestar? And that that cheap leather (piping is generally a dead giveaway for that, as is the shine) is good, the same? Ah well, we have to agree to disagree on this one as well. The Sorento interior is in many ways equal to the Polestar. It has good leather and lots of brushed aluminum versus plastic piano black
Can’t agree with this. We had a brand new Sorento for a month in New Zealand early last year, as in it had 14km’s on the clock when we picked it up, and while it was competent and well screwed together the overall feeling wasn’t on a par with the Polestar. More like a Toyota 10-20 years ago.The Sorento interior is in many ways equal to the Polestar. It has good leather and lots of brushed aluminum versus plastic piano black
Is it brushed aluminium or “brushed aluminium”?The Sorento interior is in many ways equal to the Polestar. It has good leather and lots of brushed aluminum versus plastic piano black
Or plastic 😂Is it brushed aluminium or “brushed aluminium”?
