Google Maps offline.

Hi everyone.

Has anybody noticed Google Maps offline today, particularly in the PNW area. My Polestar 2 is offline today.
My wife with her Volvo C40 is also offline with her Google Maps. We both have different Google accounts and both cars have full cellular connectivity as we can stream normally using all the other apps.
Weird that both cars are offline at the same time?

There was an offline update for Google maps yesterday in Chicago. I happen to notice it while I was driving. Not sure if it's related.

I was just in Portland and Stevenson Washington a few weeks ago. My daughter lives in Portland. So nice there.

Mine is also saying offline today. The car has signal and I can still send directions from my phone. It's probably something server side with Google.

Seeing the same thing here in South Florida. It shows off-line and doesn't give traffic info, but...

1: It's clearly still connected as its able to download a map for my home area.
2: The traffic info is still shown on the map, just not for the route planned!

Yes. Everything else is online. Other apps work online, including YouTube Music and Air Quality. I can lookup destinations in Google Maps, just traffic is offline.

Ok, so everyone is experiencing what both my wife and are seeing. That is reassuring as I thought at first it was on our end here. Last night was frustrating trying to use the in car navigation driving into Seattle so we ditched it and switched to Apple Car Play and used Apple maps and have to say, its a nicer display.

I'm having the same issue. Everything online except when navigating to a destination it shows offline and doesn't account for traffic.

I have the same issue today and of course it was when I was doing a 6 hour drive so this was making me crazy

I was out this evening in the wife's Volvo C40 and it was still out. Thankfully I had no reason to use Google Maps as I was just running errands. But on a long drive I would miss the functionality of Google Maps.

AFAIK, it’s just the traffic that is offline - everything else works.

Did anyone notice anything different today? I tried it on my way into work and I did not see the Maps Offline symbol when I put in my work as a destination, but I felt I was still not seeing traffic data.
