I am looking at my midnight blue P*2 and thinking that the gray plastic cladding around the bottom of the car woukd look better if it were black. I think the gray plastic looks like what formerly black plastic does after a decade of sun exposure. It seems to be an odd choice by Polestar in my opinion.
Two options come to mind: A black vinyl wrap or a black plastic dye like Mothers Back to Black. I dont think vinyl will stick to the plastic though, which leaves only the dye as an option. It seems proposturous to use a color restorer on a new car I've owned since Monday afternoon.

Any suggestions for doing it well? Another option would be a solvent-based pvc dye that wont flake off. Ideally id want to find a junked car part to experiment with. Perhaps a totalled Volvo might be scavanged for my tests
May be worth going to your local SMART repair guy and asking his advice. Plastics often need recolouring after a 'knock' so must be doable.
(SMART = Small and Medium Area Repair Technique) i.e. bodyshop
