Hey there @Artem92115, great build you've done, nice work 👍I can't can't put it on the side of the box as it multiples layers
What sort of mounting depth did the stacked fab give you for the 10"?

I don't remember exact mesure , my Hertz MP250 D4.3 is 5.55" and it left around 2 cm of space . I will say about 6.5" 🤔 . Depending of position of your sub i think it s possible to add another 3/4" layer as i have 2" between sub box and the top floor.Hey there @Artem92115, great build you've done, nice work 👍

Thanks a lot for the info. My original plans were to go fibreglass, but the stacked fab concept is really intriguing. Was it a lot of work templating the MDF and cutting the layers?I don't remember exact mesure , my Hertz MP250 D4.3 is 5.55" and it left around 2 cm of space . I will say about 6.5" 🤔 . I hesitate between Hertz and Rockford Fosgate P3D4-10 but last one have bigger dimensions. I really like my Hertz( never hearditbefore), the sound is amazing

My box is 18l ou 0.64 ft cubeNice, I'm definitely going to gice this a go. Did you calculate what volume you ended up with? I'm still trying to decide whether to go 8" or 10".
I found that if I tapped both sub 1 and sub 2, it would rarely enable the subwoofer by itself when I play music. Now that I have only tapped into one pair of sub wires (ended up using sub 2) it works when I pause then play music in Spotify. Not sure if you have the same behavior but I have to do that for my sub to work with SpotifyA little update. This amp has a bass boost gain at 50hz and low-pass filter that I still need to tweak. I think I'll turn down the bass boost a bit and adjust the low-pass filter to a higher frequency. Right now, both are set right to the middle and the overall gain is ~35%. Any more, and the sub will basically overpower the stock speakers. If I were still in high school, I'd probably crank it up, ha. Anyway, the only quirk so far has been that it takes a bit for the amp to 'auto turn on' based on the inputs from the 'high inputs'. Again, super happy with the purchase because of the bang for the buck and ease of install. This screen grab is off the Crutchfield website just so y'all can see the amp adjustments.

What is in those high to low level converters other than two resistors forming a voltage divider?A high to low level converter will do just fine.
Buy a good quality one, they are cheaper than buying a new amp
could you provide some recommendations or links? for simplification, I guess I could grab full range signal coming from the radio, but haven't seen much input on that, and I rather run fewer cables.A high to low level converter will do just fine.

I haven't did this just yet in my car, but if you are looking for some good bass then you should do a JL Audio ACP110LG-TW1 single 10tw1 MicroSub+ with the built in amp ported. Then you need a Audio Control LC2i orLC2i PRO to connect to the factory system wiring. This will boost the signal and give you good connection for your sub. I've did this option twice now and can stand by it. Also you will need a 4 gauge amp wiring kit and rca's for connections.has anyone installed an aftermarket subwoofer?
the standars soundsystem sounds pretty good, but as it lacks a sub so im considering installing one under the seat or something.
