Hi All!

I heard Tesla has this problem when the temperature drops below 4 Celsius and the cable socket will disengage the lock when charging is done (100%). Then an attacker can get the cable without any problem. This will prevent the cable to be frozen and unremovable. Is this also the case with the Polestar 2 or will it be locked if the car is locked?

Thanks in advance!

I think the Type 2 cable stays locked; certainly when I came out yesterday after it had charged (to 90%) overnight, I had to press the button to make it unlock, and the button only works when the key fob is nearby.

If the car is locked the cable is locked.
