My order is for a Magnesium. I’d love to see some more real-world shots from owners in Europe who already have one. Please!?

I have yet to see the car appear "silver", but in the poorer light of rain or twilight, it certainly has a different shade to the whiter of bright light. I like seeing different appearances each time I gaze at it out of the house window (which is often!) o_O

Looks great. I’m a big fan of magnesium. In certain lights it has a Stormtroopery shade to it.

It really seems a lot more like a pearlescent white than a grey. Keep the photos coming, thanks all!

I love Magnesium. I wish you could get it with the beige leather seats. It would have been my top pick.

A couple of close up photos. Still trying to find the best time, location, and a clean car for good shots. So I know it is a bit sad to only offer....waiting at the supermarket!o_O
But as my passenger said, "you might have parked better before you took a photo". I took the rear quarter photo because the silver look was really showing through but it does not seem to be that visible.
Having done a test drive "on leather" I can see why you like it. However, I went for a slate interior and really think it goes well.

Couple of pics of mine now it’s here. Not washed it yet and a thin layer of road dirt from delivery, but still looks pretty clean (one of the main reasons I chose it - I’m a lazy car owner.. ;)). Pleased with it so far after my big 8 mile drive home:geek:!

I have to agree with you, mine was Magnesium and we thought the colour really suited the car well.

I can't wait to get my magnesium P2.
I have always owned silver cars and thought magnesium would look like the typical silver and ordered it that way. I was also considering snow, so the surprise that magnesium is in fact a very pale pearl grey or an off-white depending on certain light didn't deter me -- I actually intrigued and saw the colour in person on the street on an XC40 (Volvo calls the same colour Glacier Silver). It looks more like a milky pastel grey on an overcast day, similar to Porsche Chalk (which is also my favourite factory car colour) but more on the cooler side while Chalk has a warmer tone.

I am considering doing a full PPF wrap on my car as I live in the city and dings, scratches and vandalism happen from time to time, and I had to repaint my car ever so often so this would be a good investment for me (and I tend to be paranoid!). I am considering a satin finish PPF which looks really nice on a traditional silver or white, but I'm not sure how it would look on pale grey. I'm worried that it will look like unpainted primer.

Don’t worry it will look fab.

It’s more like a frosty ice white, with a Matt element. Looks really classy when clean. I’ve often had silver before and when I first saw it at the test drive I thought it was the snow white colour - unusual to have two metallic whites in a limited colour pallet.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Have a look at this YouTube clip:
Magnesium P2 with Matt PPE wrap?

I stumbled across it early on when I was trying to decide on colour choice.
not sure but it looks like a Matt PPE wrap or similar - and looks great if so..!

I was hoping for a slightly more silver look, but I like it just the same. I'm also lazy (or getting old), so the prospect of keeping a dark car clean is not welcome. I also like the light interior and that limited my choices overall.
In the snow today, particularly as the sunlight started to go down, I really saw the silvery grey colour coming out. Weird - it must be the contrast with the white of the snow as it was not as noticeable in the recent heavy frosts. I tried to take a couple of photos but none of the showed the "correct" colour I was seeing in real life. o_O
