Another post got me thinking that I should see what, if any, info I can get out of the car through an OBD2 dongle and existing apps. I already have Torque Pro, so I started with that, and used the existing dongle I have, shown here.

Torque has a few EV related displays, however, the two I really wanted to see, "Volts" and "EV Bat" (basically SoC) either weren't working or I didn't drive long enough for them to sync and begin to display. I'll try some more, but wanted to see if others had already gone down this road and found another app, or other displays within Torque, that worked and that they liked.

Geotab (fleet mamangement solution, working fine with Volvos) tried to decipher the protocoll through a lot of logging on my car last year and gave up after getting the most basic information.

Some examples can be found on this site.

It seems that the info provided via the ODB are not in clear read :-( I think I read it somewhere in this forum.
