This just came in from German marketing through the German forum:

The new group is for all Polestar owners and will have the following name: Official Polestar Community.
This group will be a place where Polestar Owners can interact directly with Polestar and other Polestar Owners, exchange feedback, ask questions and receive important Polestar news and updates. We will also be hosting live written Q & As with Polestar specialists, with the first event taking place next week with Beatrice Simonsson (Head of Production Management). More details will be announced soon!

The group will be open to all Polestar owners worldwide and will be conducted in English.

We think starting this group will be a great new way to get in touch with Polestar and share our thoughts and feedback.

Here is the link to the group: www.facebook.com/groups/officialpolestarcommunity/ 10

Please note that the group will be open from April 7th at 9am .

"Polestar 2 is minimalistic, timeless, and precise"

'timeless and precise' - which is not an oxymoron at all - and only applies if your key battery is sufficiently charged per the other thread

Rolls Royce had this whole blurb of nonsensical marketing garbage justifying why they removed the clock from one of their new car trims/versions. I gotta find it...

Edit: Found it... it's gold:

As we all know, Time never stands still, waits for no one. Hence, we manage it, guard it, account for it, weigh and measure it to its smallest fraction. With Phantom Tempus, we have created a space in which those strictures no longer apply – as illustrated by the deliberate absence of a clock. Rolls-Royce clients are not bound by Time; the outside world with all its pressures and demands are forgotten.

As long as you're OK with FBs constant failure to protect your privacy...

Facebook is probably the worst thing on the internet, and one of the most damaging inventions of the modern era.

I'm still going to join that group though.

I trust you’ll post all the highlights here for those of us more paranoid about Herr Zuck?

Removed myself from FB 7 years ago and not going back for many reasons, most of all privacy and crappy data standards, but I'll live vicariously through all of you fine friends :)

Yes, I realize the irony of my car now being run by Google, but I know many people at both companies and have much more reason to trust the G. Plus their maps rock and its one of the best features on our car.

Been an Norwegian owners club on FB for some time. Mostly look at me and my car kinda posts with occasional soliciting from 3rd party services, detailing, charging, etc disguised as membership perks. Got my wife to join to check it out, as I am FB allergic. It's a condition 🙂

Finally! I'm a big fan of avoiding the detour of going through non-technical people to reach the "doers" when it comes to a technical product.
Polestar have failed to engage directly via any other medium so far - what makes you think that this facebook group will be any different.

Yes, I know Mr Ingelnath has replied to the occasional FB comment but...

I don't know why they can't just have a representative present on forums like this. I guess it's because they can't control the narrative here!

And so it begins. The same people giving the same non-answers as on the public channels...

Q: I think the most commonly discussed feature is the app and the mobile key which is already showed in web site as a working solution. How far away is that ?

A: It sure is, Kristoffer. We’re happy to hear about your excitement about this. The app for the Polestar 2 is already available, with vehicle functionality coming soon. We’re so very excited to share this with you
