I finally got around to driving yesterday and got the update notification when I got in the car. As I had some running around to do, I didn't install until I was done for the evening. I checked about an hour later and it had completed. I also drove quite a bit today and here are my impressions/observations:
  • I had to once again reset all the icons in the quadrants
  • I did NOT have to log back in to anything - my Polestar account was still connected
  • I enabled Connected safety just with the settings option, no need for anything else
  • Google Podcasts and Google News showed up as icons without doing anything with Google Assistant (Nice!)
  • I had to store the tire pressures for the TPMS again, as many others have noted - I took the opportunity to check and adjust my tires before I did. That worked properly
  • ACC engaged without any issues and seemed a bit smoother, but I need to drive more to be sure
  • Pilot Assist took about 2 minutes to actually start working when I first engaged it (grey instead of yellow), but once it did, it is very apparent that it is working far better - it really does stay in the middle of the lane quite well now, doesn't drift over. It also didn't try to take any offramps. Every time I engaged it after that first time it activated quickly.
  • I don't use OPD so no observations there
  • The throttle mapping seems a bit less aggressive now than when I first installed the Performance Upgrade, but not significantly so. Nowhere near the pre-PU mapping.
Overall I'm quite happy so far. Note that again I drive with the steering medium, OPD and Creep off, and use PA and ACC regularly, so it's possible I'm not seeing what others are.

Still no 2.7 for me. I am on 2.4 in the US. I drive multiple hours with good connection every day.
Polestar Assistance says the update should be available for everyone. Anyone else not getting the update?
I am in Connecticut, and I don’t have it either. I got the OTA update from 2.1 to 2.2, but I didnt get the next one or two, so I had my local space update me to 2.51 several months ago. They insisted nothing was wrong with my car, but I now don’t have 2.7 either, anyone else on the East Coast who also hasn’t gotten it?

After a couple days of testing the new drive feel I’m not very happy, but hopefully there is some adaptive mapping for the acceleration so I’ll keep flooring it to see if any difference/improvement.
The OPD slowdown is weaker at the tail end which has me needing to use the brakes when was not previously necessary to hit the stop line at the same speeds. I also don’t understand why the OPD can’t be adaptive and just hit the white stop line (or before car stopped in cue) once throttle removed if a close match of stopping location.
The acceleration is weaker at all low speeds. I have got a few lucky snaps off the line, but it’s not repeatable.
The Polestar now accelerates how I would expect a Volvo to feel and that’s not what won me over originally.
I’m hoping the next update fixes the mushy accelerator and increases low speed regen drag.

So I took it in because whenever the steering wheel is at full kook either direction the slippery road caution symbol lights up. The dealer doesn't know why either so they opened a case for it.

This is the symbol it's not the one with the cloud fyi:

Who else has the Stability System warning light come on when turning the steering wheel (almost) full lock on dry roads and is there a fix yet? I have the false warning since the 2.7 update at the shop (not OTA) and I assume it will need fixed in one of the next OTA versions but wanted to check who else is affected. If you want to check if you have this issue back in or out of a parking spot or drive way with near full lock of steering wheel. That triggers the Stability System warning light for a few seconds then the warning light disappears by itself it seems.

I've had this since day 1 with the car. If I pull in more slowly I don't get the alert. It's really just normal operation as your outside wheel has to spin much faster.

Had a problem on P 2.7 yesterday. Polestar 2 SoC was 80%, set it to 100% for a trip. Got to the car for the trip and it was still 80%. Wound up taking the R1T instead of the Polestar 2. View attachment 22747
More post-P 2.7 update issues:

-Initially displayed incorrect speed limit of 15 mph, then 25 mph in a 55 mph zone.

-Volume control inoperable on steering wheel and center volume knob.

Performed reboot of infotainment and volume works again. Have not noticed a marked change in driving dynamics.

Drove lots today.
Sure is a different car now.
My favorite road is not as fun anymore, the little less OPD braking means less weight on front tires and softer steering when going in to a corner/braking zone.
Still goes like stink, but much more like a NA engine with the last bit of pedaltravel needed for it to give it all.

Also noted something someone here mentioned, that the car with OPD off and coasting still feels like its got a little bit of throttle!
It sure isnt just rolling anymore.
Doesnt feel great when the car is still going but off throttle!

Is it normal for windows to not operate while DCFC? I'm almost positive I've put my windows down and up while charging before, but they were completely dead today. Worked fine as soon as I stopped charging. Is that a possible change that also came with this update?

It's not charging, it's just a timeout. If you sit long enough the window controls will stop working. You can get them working again by getting out and back in, or you can try pushing the physical play button to wake stuff back up. Not sure if the latter works, but the former should.

Spoke too soon on the radio randomness going away with 2.7, got in tonight, radio was silent (despite showing as on) until I indicated, then it sprang back into life.

Is it really that hard to make a car radio operate as one?

Havn't used my car for almost two weeks.. Went to drive it today...2.7 update ready to install showing.... Came back after 1.5hrs all done.... All seems fine after TPMS resetting and a 15min drive.. Everything I use functioning as it should... So happy to do a 50ml drive planned for tomorrow for a more thorough test drive.

I am having random tablet reset now after P2.7

during my afternoon drive, it reset itself 3 times.

I had navigation running in all cases. One time had map on gauge cluster not the tablet. The other two times map on tablet only not on gauge cluster. :(
Installed P2.7 yesterday coming from P2.4 (car is ‘23 LRDM w/ Pilot). No issues with maps, navigation, Pilot functions, OPD low, or software stability. I needed to reset TPMS. This is my second OTA update since I got the car with no issues.

Never had that warning.
