looks like crap. Put it on and immediately regretted it. My partner came to tell me that someone stuck a white post it note on the front of my car and now I can’t unsee it.
Yes I agree it looks a bit like toothless. I wasn’t sure at first but did put it in my car. And I also like the side door stickers. Works well and I find it a nice and subtle location.Even though the low-res quality of the sticker sounds like it's not too noticeable, to me the point is it comes across as cheap or missed attention to detail. Not a huge deal to me, but just an odd annoyance. Come on, get the easy stuff right. Mine is a Snow and I'm torn, I think it looks okay and less obtrusive on the lighter colored cars, but it still kinda jumps out as a little toothy on the grill. Just in pics I've seen; I haven't ordered my PU yet but will sooner or later.
I would like to see something a little less stark in contrast amid the grille cubes. Wonder what something like... a medium-dark gray would look like with white Polestar Engineered lettering but the line separating them as red. Would catch the eye to someone looking without demanding the eye to a passerby.
A thousand forum members, a thousand distinct opinions. I personally like the door stickers. At worst I think they're quirky and unobtrusive, but I think they're geeky-cool and suit the car. Anyway, I enjoy the conversations here and hope we maintain that vibe of being at a car show where you walk by a hundred vehicles modded or painted in ways you'd never have in your garage but can nod in respect to the dudes or gals who put in the work in their labors of love.
But if any of you unironically hang truck nuts from the back of your Polestars I will lose my sh*t.
You have to look VERY closely on the car to be able to see this effect at all. On the order of 2-3" away. 99.9% of people will never ever notice this and 95% of owners.I posted on the other thread. I'm probably going to leave mine off. If you look close, it's not a great print job. Pixellated font, looks like they churned them out at 150dpi on a cheap laser printer.

I probably won't post anything on the FB forum, but I love the idea of white lettering (hi res!) on a midnight background that I could put on the body color part below the grille maybe. Or just a black background with white lettering on the grille. Much less obtrusive. At the end of the day, I'll just leave it in my file folder along with the door stickers in case I ever sell it. I like it being anonymous.Personally I think that you should probably post your photo of the lousy print quality to the Polestar group on Facebook as they actually seem pretty responsive there. For trying to be a premium brand this is a bad look and I'm pretty sure I could create something better myself with my 3D printer. I also think body-coloured should have been an option; I'd love to have the performance badge be midnight on my midnight car with white lettering... I think that'd look awesome.
I just think this is too funny...We want carplay, we want carplay, oh the implementation is crap...We'll use google...We want the power upgrade, we want the powerupgrade, oh the little sticker that I can or cannot apply to the front grill isn't perfectly sharp to my standards...
I can't wait to see the reactions when the matrix pixel headlights get activated for the US market😇

Not sure quoting an F1 driver who crashed and died is useful in that context. RIP Senna.

Just everything elseAnd he (Max) never complained about the sharpness of the stickers on his car ...
At least he drives cleanly and drives to win opposed complain about other drivers all the time. In order to be a winner you've got a have winning attitude and expect the best of yourself and your team.Just everything else
Yes... But come on.... I bet somewhere on his car he has his lucky mascot Polestar performance badge mounted to give him inspiration to win!At least he drives cleanly and drives to win opposed complain about other drivers all the time. questionable at times, but hey, that's your opinion, mine differs, ends that discussion. At least he drives cleanly
Factually very correct the season just gone, very notable considering the absence of Lewis. But yes it's a bit offtopic but I didn't start throwing F1 quotes around first 😇questionable at times, but hey, that's your opinion, mine differs, ends that discussion.
Corrected that for youFYI, Ham is an arrogant knobtoo, so I don't favour either camp. Both shit teams to work with as a contractor too.
Everyone has their own views of course and while I respect yours Max baby is not a patch on Senna. That Toleman drive in the wet at Monaco in ‘84 was one of the best drives in F1 ever, just beyond amazing. Yes he died in an F1 car but not through any fault of his own.Not sure quoting an F1 driver who crashed and died is useful in that context. RIP Senna.
I'm more a Max Verstappen fan anyway
