I think my shop is doing something wrong. They just quoted me
“full exterior on this vehicle with Xpel Ultimate Plus goes for $9500 parts and labor.
You also have the option of starting with a full front- Full hood, full fender,s, mirrors and bumper $2999” I should drive to Houston..

They said full car would be a number like that, maybe $7500. Way more than I was willing to go. Option is to try someone else that uses Xpel film. Lots of those around but you need to check reviews and ratings.

San Jose Xpel installers This is the link to the list of South Bay Xpel installers from the Xpel site. Could not find anything on the first one and ignored the last two as too far away. The rest are 4.7 stars or more on Google. So several to play with for quotes. You might need to make sure that they know Xpel has a pattern. The #2995 might be a custom price, not a pattern price.

They did come back with "Xpel clear bra Paint protection film on the full front goes for $2999 and adding ceramic coating clear coat over the front film and over the rest of the body including windows goes for $4394 all together. Also includes ceramic coating on the face of the wheels." So about $1500 more than in Houston, but LA is probably more expensive than most other cities. I am on the fence.

I thought you were Silicon Valley. LA area Xpel shops This is the LA list at the website. Get Google reviews on each and then call for estimates. Somebody has to be cheaper.

I agree LA is probably higher, but it is a lot higher and LA is car world, so you would assume competition in pricing.

That's about $1000 high compared to a great shop in the Boston area.

What other Paint Protection are you guys familiar with/recommend? I am on a paint protection crusade.

I have not dealt with anyone besides Xpel. My wife got something on her Yukon, but it did not last long and yellowed in the Houston sun. I know it was not Xpel film but it was cheaper.

Apparently there are a whole lot of us who like midnight . October pickup in Manhattan, took a few hours and drove around Connecticut and NY then cannonballed back to St. Louis.

I've got Midnight Metallic w/Zinc seats and got a quote for $7200 for the full PPF Xpel.

Going in to be done end of May - they're that backed up.
