Here's a closeup shot of the Polestar 2's charging port. It'll be able to handle Home Charging (AC) of up to 11 kW and Fast Charging (DC) of up to 150 kW. With fast charging it can reach 0-80% charge in 40 minutes.
I have a basic question about the charging port for the Polestar 2. Is there an explanation of the different features of that LED in the charging port area? Does green mean charging or fully charged? What is the purpose of that button located to the right?
Some EVs lock the charging port so people can't pull out the charging handle while the car is locked. Anyone know if the Polestar 2 is like this?
Green means that charging has begun. Not sure about the purple light.
> When charging starts, the green LED light in the charging socket will begin to flash. The approximate remaining charging time or the charging status will be displayed in the instrument panel and the center display.
Very useful to find this page via a Google search after discovering that the car didn't charge overnight. I was concerned that the top right pin had been pushed in but that is its normal appearance. Rebooting the charger seems to have resolved the problem even though there were no error messages from the charging app (Andersen A2).
