Polestar Launches Design Challenge

Polestar wants regular people and industry professionals from outside the brand to look into the future. The design brief is to design a concept that's meant to exist 20 years in the future and express a "pure" design aesthetic.

Notably absent from that brief is the word vehicle, because “the designers behind the contest are keen not to limit future directions for Polestar.”

There are two categories, professional and student, and a winner from each will be selected. A lifesize model of the design will be made and displayed at Polestar's design center in Gothenburg.

Entries are being accepted between June 23 and October 26.
