Here's another anniversary photo.
I was traveling home from work one day last week and saw a Polestar grille in my rearview mirror...............the 2 is quite impressive when looking at the front end in your rearview. It's kinda scary actually. So this pic is what people see in their mirrors.

Ostetal Nord, Germany. On our way back from Norway.

I don't have shares in Thule, I'm not an employee, but this towbar cargo box proved to be fantastic.
Rented it for 3 weeks, the positives:
  • doubles the boot size
  • no impact on range
  • no wind noise
  • no impact on visibility
  • install or remove using one lever, which is lockable with a proper key

the negatives:
  • as the car thinks it is pulling a trailer, Pilot Assist is disabled. Adaptive cruise control still works, but you have to keep the lane by yourself (I got lazy in the past 2 years)
  • 2 warnings on the driver display, every time you start driving
  • when reversing, the 360 cam makes you think you're about to hit the grille of a Dodge RAM
  • I took the Arcos L, which collects all the grime the rear wheels eject. The Arcos M is narrower, which should allow the dirt to pass. And it's probably more aerodynamic too.

Minor downsides, great benefits, so overall a life saver for holidays for a family with kids or a multi-person group!

Been doing this since the last Google Maps update.

How'd you get 3.8 secs?!!
There's a bit of discussion about this: Performance Software Upgrade 0-60

Certainly warm weather and having a relatively full battery helps. But my personal suspicion is that they changed the launch timer app to do a rollout deduction. Not sure how to confirm that, I just find it hard to believe I saw an honest 0.4 second improvement with no significant change.

I've only had my car for a month but recently tried the launch. I'm on 2.10 btw. I had three people in the car too. 0-60 in 4.4. I'm going to try with just myself in the car.

I'd suggest charging to >90% on a warm, dry day, and driving around for a few minutes to ensure the battery is conditioned, then give it a go.
