Problem with Polestar 4 Pricing

The problem with the Polestar 4 pricing is that the Zeekr exists. If you compare the PS4 to other rivals like the i4/i5, GV70 EV, Model S, and whatever else this SUV/Sedan amalgamation competes with, its pretty well priced. However, for some reason, the Zeekr is just priced much less. In countries where there is no Zeekr, though, this is a great deal.

I am wondering if Polestar's play is to just focus on markets where there is no Zeekr or if there is something that justifies the price increase. The PS4 does look much better than the Zeekr. I tried going on configurators to compare Zeekr to PS4 price to specs but the Zeekr configurator barely has any useful information on specs so I couldn't really tell for myself how big the difference is. I've mostly just read it from people on this forum.

I test drove a Zeekr 001 at the Amsterdam Fully Charged in November, a lovely car, great interior. If/when it comes to the UK then it would be a good rival for the P4.
Also the new Zeekr 007 is a good rival for the P5, very similar specs

I just checked the prices for the Zeekr 001 and the Polestar 4 in Netherlands and it wasn't as big as I thought. After taxes and all (for the base model without any changes) the difference was just around €4,500. That is better than I originally thought which was that the Zeekr was about €10,000 cheaper than the Polestar 4.

That's not true is it?

'Base' model Zeekr001 (Long Range RWD) with Electric blue as a colour: €62.090 (no added colour: €60.490)
Equivalent Polestar 4 (Long Range Single Motor) with Electron as a colour: €73.300 (no added colour: €72.000)

The base model P4 does not have the same options as the base model Zeekr001. The 001 comes standard with what Polestar sells as the Pilot and Plus pack individually.
So a base P4 is not the same car as a base 001 on the spec sheet, and still is 4,5k more expensive for the design only.
