Personally I prefer the original grille and I am prepared to accept the 0.0001% reduction in efficiency it gives - and keep the £1250 in my pocket! YMMV of course and that is fine.

Looks purely aesthetic. I doubt that any of the components beyond tghe skin are upgraded at all.

 

It even tells you:

• 1 Color-matched SmartZone
• 1 SmartZone Radar cover

Anti-Marketing translation:

• 1 Painted New Style MY24+ Plastic front grille to match your car
• 1 Radar plastic cover that replaces the old style radar cover also in the same color.
  

 

This will make it harder to tell the model years apart

 

Haha, first thing that came to my mind.

 

i have a MY24 and after all i'm ok with the new smart zone look.
but not enthusiastic.
the old grille is totally equal in my eyes concerning the look result.

 

It's been an option for the past year I've owned my car. Not sure why you'd want to pay so much to make the front end uglier though!
