There isn't a jack in the car either so you'd need to carry both of them around. A normal scissors jack isn't strong enough but don't know what other choices there might be.

 

It might depend on the area, but my '24 did come with a jack in the frunk.

I've seen many ppl think this way, but there are tons of cars that weight > 2 tons, not just EVs.
As long as the jack is truly rated for > 2 tons (not some made up AliExpress rating) it'd be alright to use on our P*2s.
e.g. my last gas(non hybrid) sedan was from 2011 and it had a curb weight of ~ 2.1 tons - funny that the jack came in that one was only rated for 1.8 tons for some reason, worked fine for quick tire changes tho

I've seen cars that comes with scissors jack rated for 2.5 tons, Rover & Audis if I remembered correctly.

When you jack up the car on one side the entire weight of the car is not on the jack. At most maybe half.

 

I keep thinking of getting one of these, but have concerns regarding using a scissors jack on the P2: 18" Space saver spare wheel + tool kit + cover bag compatible with Volvo Polestar 2 (2020-present day)

 

You've got 3 years of Polestar assist (from when the car is new), after that, if the onboard repair kit isn't up to the task I'd be looking at roadside assistance with one of the big players personally rather than risking jacking over 2 tonnes at the road side...

I'd never stop my car on the road unless it was completely dead. I'd rather (and have) drive on a rim and get off the highway.

 

I got this kit because I often travel in rural areas where I might wait half a day or longer for roadside assistance.

 

Its slightly taller than stock, but a land rover evoque spare tire seems to be readily available on ebay and pretty cheap.
