I have dripping oil coming from somewhere near the back of the bonnet release catch, has anyone else had this?

If memory serves me right, there has been a post with cause/solution about this.

Yes. It was a mistake at the factory... Too much lubrication has been applied. Polestar took care of it.

Same location and appearance.

Good news? It's nothing serious.

Bad news? It's a pain to get it taken care of.

Thanks for your help guys, it just seems strange that it has taken over 8 months to leak if too much lubricant had been applied.

Mine just did this last week for the first time after almost 6 months. Maybe it's tied to use of the frunk opening cable and/or temperature.

It's likely to be to do with the higher temperatures, making it flow more easily and find its way around the seals. Equally it could be the air inside the tube expanding from getting warm and forcing a bit of lubricant around the seals.
