The official one is quite expensive. Somebody in forum mentioned this Amazon one (I searched but cannot find the original thread) but it was OOS at that time.

Recently it come back instock, and I purchased one. At $70 I think it's quite good.

It's shown not available again, but you can add to wishlist and check from time to time. I found it back to stock then purchased right away.

It's a black mesh, very similar to black interior. So the style blend with other interior very well. The edge is flexible and have some tension, you can insert the edge in between roof and interior liner, so it's easy to install. The front and back have different width so you need to align it right.

After installation the mesh will have some sloppiness since it's only hold by edge, not like some other window shade which stick to window by static.

Overall it's good looking and effective.

i'm in northern Europe so you can understand it's not much of a problem, but i was wondering if it gets really that hot in the sun?
would you say that it's worse than a metal roof?

I didn't think of it that way, but rear seat passengers don't get all the vent options. How small does it fold up to? Just in half, or smaller?
Does it store easily in the car when unused?
