I ordered my P2 in mid-March with an initial delivery date of July. This changed to August last month. Noticed today that the configurator has been updated and there is a replacement 20” wheel option which I really don’t like. I hope my order doesn’t include this new wheel as my order confirmation states the previous wheel option. If it’s been confirmed with the previous wheel option, I’ll be extremely disappointed if this is changed now.

I would contact CS and make it clear that you want the 20inch wheel you ordered.... which in my humble opinion is what I think you will get... This new wheel style will apply to orders made now.
Delivery dates are extremely unpredictable at present... But again i think you will be OK for August as is mine.
Thanks. I spoke to PS last night via ‘chat’ who confirmed that my order is a MY22 spec so will have the original ordered wheels. Confirmed build spot of May and then 8 weeks shipping.

Thanks for the update. The P app showing a delivery date of September but Lex, who I ordered via with work, stating August. I think I’ll expect September. Looking forward to it arriving and each delay message is a right pain.

Mine has just been pushed to September from August... Still going to be a MY22.. so it may well apply to your car also... Worth checking... but judging by my conversation with CS on Monday your unlikely to get anything positive from Polestar at present.
Not happy! Another delay on my P2. Delivery now pushed from September to October. Ordered in March with an expected delivery of July then changed to August, September, and now October. I’m now on the brink of cancelling the order.

It’s so annoying and as you say, they’ve got us over a barrel. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency on delivery dates after cars are being ordered. PS need to sort this quickly or they’ll quickly start to lose brand reputation so early in their start up.

HI,
I too had my change of delivery date from September to October this week, however when I just checked again it today, it has changed again... to July 2022, I can see this on the mobile app however on the website I am no longer able to see the finer details of the order, only the order number, so at the moment I'm trying not to get my hopes up...

With everything going on in China at the moment I was hardly surprised, disappointed yes, that the date slipped again from Sept to Oct, I don't blame Polestar for the delay as it really is a country logistics/Covid-over-reaction etc.

Anyone else seeing a change from Oct to July?
Mine also updated to July (last night) after it showed October earlier this week. I’m not confident that July date will stay in place. Great if it does.

Hi all, I’m new here. Ordered my P2 back in February and on the app had August then September as delivery dates. Went on the app today….says July 2022!? Waiting for an email confirming this date. Can’t be right surely?!
Hi. Welcome to the world of Polestar date changes ;-). Like you, I ordered in mid March and I’ve had various delivery dates ranging from July to October and then back to July on the app yesterday. I think if you have a build slot this month, you may get a late July delivery depending on shipping / Covid issues in China. I’m not banking on it.

Hi Guys, some of you may have said this already but my order from back in February as moved delivery dates a few times. The app for the last 2 weeks has said July 2022 and just checked today and it’s back to October 2022!? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Sooo annoying!
Just checked mine and once again, delivery date now changed back to October! 😡. The worst part is that the order is now showing as a MY23 model with those horrible 20” wheels. No communication from P* of this change to the MY23 model. Now onthe brink of cancelling the order and buying a car from a company I can trust!! Shocking service from P*.

Fellow Bexley Boy! Hopefully our cars are delivered the same day being in the same area but I’m sure they would F that up. Has the Spec changed on your order at all? Not sure how I feel about the magnesium colour as standard on the MY23. 🙄
Yes, my spec has changed without any notification. Now include those ugly new 20” wheels. I’m looking to change spec to add the performance pack. If this delays things further, I will completely cancel the order. The magnesium looks great to me. That was my choice of colour which I paid the upgrade cost on the MY22 version.

I wouldn’t believe any expected date supplied by Polestar! Ordered my DMLR plus/pilot/perf in mid March and the delivery date has changed at least 5 times and now holds at Dec 22. Their whole communication process by way of dates etc isn’t fit for purpose and all it does is make their customers frustrated and disappointed on a regular basis. Such a shame for a new brand. My ‘expected delivery date’ will be when I see the delivery truck arrive at my drive!

First world problem though isn't it!
Its not like we are coming out of a worldwide pandemic, China has been in lockdown again several times which will massively effect the order dates - is the factory even open at the moment??? I think our just let covid run rife strategy makes us forget that the whole world is still dealing with it in different ways.
Delivery Dates - Its the same, if not worse for all brands. A have a friend, who has many more first world problems than I do, and he's been waiting 2 yrs for his electric Porsche - and still isn't sure when its coming.

Then there's the war going on....

What do you want from Polestar? Text message every week saying it will be December. I'd rather it be like it is - that if you need to ask them anything the chat online is really quite quick - and you get an email for each stage of the order out of the blue, which cheers you up every now and then.

You could always get one of those soulless Musk things..... :)
Goodness me! There’s always one eh! Thank you for pointing out that this is a first world problem and that Covid has been a big issue. I appreciate the insight. This is simply about a service issue with their communication platform. I have no issues by way of the delays. I just want accurate communication that aligns with the chat service detail provided. If PS can’t provide that right now, then pull the portal until it’s accurate. My experience, by way of service, has been very poor right from the start.

Great news! Enjoy.
Had notification yesterday that mine is now built and waiting at the port in China to be shipped. Expected delivery, early December.
Finally!! Good news - delivery accepted for 3/11. Looks like we could be seeing many more P2’s on the roads over the next couple of months. I’m in South Wales and have only seen 2-3 so far.
