Hi im new here, so please move this post if ive done it wrong.....

ive got a 2023 polestar 2 on order and going through the paper work,

1. the mileage is really close to 40k, is there an expectation they'll do the 40k service prior to purchase?

2. the polestar registration date doesnt match the actual UK dvla reg date, im right in thinking the standard warranty (3 years) goes off the dvla date and a 2 year used approved warranty will start after this date ends? its about 4 months different.

3. does anyone have a list of the 112 point check?

thats it for now, as a Saab fan for many years , im looking forward to driving swedish again

ah so I think I may have answered some of my own questions as I found a copy of the CPO checklist which states - all maintenance must. be completed if within 2500 miles of service window :

Must be less than 80,000 Miles • Must be less than 72 months since first registration • Must have full Polestar service history • At delivery, all cars must have scheduled maintenance completed if due within 3 months/2500 miles • Must run Carfax history report to confirm eligibility • Must update to the most current software • Must Check Recall status • Must have at least two keys present (fob and/or activity key)

Honestly if you want the x point inspection then they should it it anyway. I don't buy cars I don't feel comfortable buying. On ICE cars if they don't do an oil change, have newer tires, and sparks aren't done I don't buy it. I want to know once I buy it I am ready to go. Same would apply to an EV. Newer tires, inspection done and I want to read the report. I was initially looking at a 2023. But they couldn't give me enough information and they didn't really know much about Polestar. It wasn't a direct dealership. If you're going to a Polestar /Volvo dealership, the inspection should of been done anyway. It shouldn't take them long to give you what you want. Also if a dealership have them update the software to the newest. Don't count on OTA. Good luck and enjoy the car
