I can't even remember the last time I used my P as an actual P 🤣I use KAK and PAP.
If I kick hard enough to bang my shin, it works 🤣I have never had luck with a foot "swipe" it only ever works for me if I kick forward. Also never tried it without the FOB.
I can definitely get mine to work side to side, but it needs to be a big sweeping motion.Mine works all the time just with PAK and/or the activity key, you have to kick in and out, not side to side.
Same hereI use KAK and PAP.
Just to add to this, the two sensor bars are mounted transversely, which is why they instruct an inward kick and not a side-to-side sweep. The PS2 is one of the only cars I've used with this feature that works reliably. Many other cars use a swipe but in my experience the detection is nowhere near as good as the PS2.I can definitely get mine to work side to side, but it needs to be a big sweeping motion.
Very interestingthe two sensor bars are mounted transversely
When you have the handover in the UK, they advise to sweep, so country by country, as always, the advice differs.Just to add to this, the two sensor bars are mounted transversely, which is why they instruct an inward kick and not a side-to-side sweep. I prefer RAP but by brother is more into hip hopI use KAK and PAP.
Well, than the handover guy don't know the car well enough. It's a kick that does the trick. When you have the handover in the UK, they advise to sweep, so country by country, as always, the advice differs.

Yeah I'd say that's a poorly trained Polestar rep. Check the manual:When you have the handover in the UK, they advise to sweep, so country by country, as always, the advice differs.
On my handover I was told to kick straight forward below the "2" of the "72" on my number plate, and it works reliably every time. When you have the handover in the UK, they advise to sweep, so country by country, as always, the advice differs.
