Nothing except a message in the display, if you're going over crawling speed. Below that, it auto-brakes to a standstill and changes the setting. Same is true the other way round (R->D). Nice feature, actually. No need for the brake pedal when parking with OPD off.

When the pilot wants to get the first high-speed exit after landing...
Remember the good old days when you could kill the ignition while moving so you could stop at your girlfriends house to get her as she sneaks out without her parent hearing? Oh yeah, the P2 is super quiet, never mind. "Says the guy with two daughters".

While reversing the other day a question popped into my head. How fast will the Polestar go in reverse? Seeing as there is no gearing involved (ie no different to the gearing for forwards). The reverse is a reversal of the motor. Can the car in theory go 112mph backwards?

In theory yes, but in practice... Well, see for yourself:

Quick Maths - Worked out the drag coefficient of the backend and calculated 112mph (or couldn't remember the top speed of P2 and reverted to Volvos limit on the rest of their cars.
