I'm planning on buying the black 21" Polestar 1 wheels. I'm going to get the front version 9" for all four wheels. The rear version is 10" wide and the 245/35 R21 tires won't stretch that far. Well I don't want to hope they do and find out otherwise.
Pirelli has a 245/35 R21 with a 99 load index. Apparently at that width and sidewall height 99 is hard to find. Should allow for tire rotation or easy replacement should you get a flat.

Anyone tried to fit a 10" wide in the rear?

 

I believe they are ET35, gotta get by the huge bulge of the Brembo brakes.

 

Is it confirmed the BST wheels are 21x9 front and 21x10 rear? I had previously read 8 front and 9 rear.

Everything I have read on the internet says 245/35/21 all around. But I am curious as well. I have asked my local space and they have yet to confirm the wheel specs. I am pretty interested because I need to purchase a winter set, and want to go down to a 20" with 255/40's.

What I THINK is coming on the BST:
Front: 20x8 et50
Rear: 20x9 et53
245/35 on both.

 

Just be mindful of the offset. I purchased a set of wheels with an ET50 and they would not clear the brakes. My 21 PP 20 wheels have an ET38.

 

I have two sets of wheels in mind at the moment. One is 20x8.5 ET45 and the other ET40.

Mine BST270 are fitted with 21" 8.5-50 front and 9.0-53 rear. With 245/35/21 tyres.

 

I'm not sure I want 21" wheels, the car is already firm on the highest settings, 21" would make it possibly too harsh.

 

I wandering, the center cap that came with the original P2 wheels does that fit the center cap of the P1 wheels? I already order the tires, I went with the Pirelli 245/35/21 just like on the BST 270.
Just trying to decide on rims now. Also I’m trying to find someone to colour match the black fender trim to my cars color magnesium.

 

The PP 20" wheels currently on my car have a steel center cap that only fits them. The P1 wheels come with a plastic cap that has a spring loaded mechanism to snap them into place. If you want the BST wheels VIVA Performance has them at a reasonable price. I haven't had any success finding 21" aftermarket wheels I like.

 

Forgot to ask you did you know the weight of the 21x9s?

 

Yeah I'm talking to VIVA Performance about the wheels but they have no clue on the weight and will they fit flush. Check out BC Forged wheels they make custom wheels.

 

My single wheel shipment was 46lbs, take away the double box cardboard and rubber puck I got to jack the car and it would still be close to 40 lbs. Lifing it I noticed it is significantly heavier than the 20" performance pack wheels.

With ET38 you should be good. However nothing will confirm like a test fit. I ordered a single rim to try before ordering a full set. Those will look amazing with the P2 performance brakes. Hope it works out for you.

Hi. Just order a P4 Performance for delivery in june. Anyone testet the XC60 22" Volvo Polestar Engineered on a P4 Performance? Polestar sayes I only can use the original 22" because of the big brakes. Would love if they fit.
