That’s why I picked the Lectron… easier latching, even though it’s bigger and doesn’t come with a case.
I heard Lectron have tolerance issues where the NACS end literally get stuck inside it, not sure if they've made revisions yet.
(but they are almost identical in size, unless you are referring to the first gen A2Z which is discontinued)

1) Google Maps in my AAOS does not yet reflect all Tesla Superchargers, just the magic dock equipped ones.
Did you try playing with google map's filters (the 3 little square toggle above the charging station list)? There is an option to show all charging stations, and it'll show something like "plug not comparable" in orange for the ones without CCS port.

I can confirm the Tesla app now shows all the NACS compatible stations when I say I have a Polestar 2 and an adapter. I’ve ordered a Lectron adapter because they’re in stock now, based on the review by State of Charge.

This may come in handy on our planned trip to Pittsburgh area in November... too many of the EA stations in PA are only 4 or 6 plugs and fill up.
Can you report back how it works. I don't need access to it but at some point I might on long trips.

You need Google to update Maps to support that, but thst won’t take long I hope…
Can confirm that as of this morning, Google Maps still said the Tesla chargers were incompatible, so I just chose a nearby charger as my destination to precondition.

Probably for the best for the time being, as you won’t be able to charge without an adapter, and those are officially unavailable as of yet.
GM vehicles with Google built in already have this setup - I would imagine it should be active very soon.

Kinda funny that they say the update is coming now when the adapter doesn’t start shipping for weeks. Almost like they want you to use a 3rd party one ;)

Looks like Polestar is using adapters manufactured by Tesla, as the one on their Gear site looks exactly the same as the one on Rivian and Ford's websites.

If you're looking for a first-party adapter in the US soon, best bet is probably to order one from Rivian. They aren't currently stocking them at their local service centers, but you can order one from their website for $40 less than what my Polestar dealer will be charging for them. Ford is also using Tesla for their adapters, however their site indicated they were out of stock.

I had to create an account on Rivian.com, but there was no checking as to whether I actually owned one. Should show up in 3-4 days.

Lectron says not yet compatible with Polestar...
"CURRENTLY NOT COMPATIBLE: AUDI, BMW, KIA, LUCID, MAZDA, MERCEDES, MINI, NISSAN, POLESTAR, PORSCHE, STELLANTIS, TOYOTA, VOLKSWAGEN, VOLVO - STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES"
Lectron and Amazon updated this and Polestar was taken out of not compatible, along with some others. It must be compatible now?

I’ve noticed that ABRP added a switch for “NACS Adapter” to the Polestar settings… haven’t seen them appear in route planning yet, however.

I ordered the lectron, bc I might need it this weekend. So I will post how it works maybe as soon as try it hopefully in the next couple days.

I know, I’m just anxious for them to ship it!

Interesting that there's no mention of Plug & Charge for the 3. Then again the Plug & Charge page on the 3 mentions configuring it with the Polestar Charge app which still is not available in the US. Early adopter problems I suppose.

It may be Europe only?

I was quoted a mid-November shipping date by Polestar yesterday, but my credit card was charged this morning. Typically, that doesn't happen until a vendor is ready to ship the product, but we'll see.
