Buying OEM wheels - center caps?

I just bought a winter wheel & tire package from the Polestar “dealership” here, and they didn’t include the plastic center caps for the wheels. Are they supposed to be included when you buy wheels from Polestar? It seems weird not to include them because they’re specifically moulded for those wheels. Not like the usual small 2” caps for wheels.

I have a performance pack car, and the center caps from the perf pack 20” wheels don’t fit on the 20” wheels I just got. The wheels are different, which is fine, but I was surprised that the caps aren’t compatible. Nobody at parts & service suggested I buy center caps. They weren’t installed when I picked the car up from the service appointment. When I pointed it out, they said the ones I have would pop right on, but they don’t, they’re too big.

I called back and talked to the service advisor, and he said he’d see about “a deal”, but I want to know first whether they were supposed to be included. This whole situation seems a bit ridiculous.

I've sold thousands of sets of aftermarket wheels in my career, and very rarely do the wheels NOT come with center caps, but it's not impossible. OEM wheels on the other hand almost NEVER come with a center cap. They would be a separate part number and sold separately from the wheel. I'd explain to the service manager that you assumed the wheels would be coming with center caps and ask that they get them for you. Assuming you bought the wheels and tires from them, that's a substantial purchase!

What wheels and tires did you get? Part numbers? OEM wheels, or aftermarket? I might be able to look them up and get you some information.

OEM wheels. Part numbers:
8640976
8640977
8640978
8640979
It was a promo, discounted wheel set with winter tires included. Never any mention of center caps at all.
Maybe I’m using the wrong term, but I’m taking about the big plastic piece that covers the wheel nuts on the polestar wheels, not the small 2” plastic cap most wheels I’ve ever dealt with have.

2024 Performance wheels are different - 4 "multi spoke" instead of "Y spoke".
The center cap design changed as well.

Viva Performance has the 2023 version listed at $$$$ 231.99 each! They are metal on my 2022 - not plastic.

No center caps for the 2024 PP wheels are shown although they list the wheels themselves (and the 2024 wheels are about 50% more expensive than the 2023 version).

They are a bit cheaper in EU at €156,26 (that is inclusive the 19% German salestax you would not have to pay), but probably come to the same as the Viva Performance by the time they are in Canada.

I finally got ahold of someone at parts & service.
As the link above said, the center caps are not included in the winter tire package. "We look at it like buying steel wheels" well these were a heck of a lot more expensive than steel wheels! They're telling me the center caps are $300 each.

When I was looking to buy this winter tire package, they said:
under normal MSRP, each wheel itself cost $1,560. But now with the wheel set, it is only $4,050 including the tires as well.
Does anyone know if the wheels for $1560 (Canadian) would have included the center caps?
