Don't know if this has been asked before, but my 2 has a clear plastic "clip" on the lower left side the windshield. Is it there for any reason? In any event it makes a good holder for a handicapped plaque.
Why put the miles on your car and tires when you can put it on theirs lolLOL just got a call that my car is ready. Should I take your advise and do my ski trip this weekend and then collect my car?
It's a curtain airbag that explodes and unrolls downward. The a-pillar trim is designed to flex open that direction, but not come blasting off of the pillar and become another thing to hit or pierce a passenger. Why on gods green earth is there an 8mm bolt behind this airbag thingy and a 7mm bolt behind the one on the C pillar?!
I understand, but what I mean is to get to the TCAM battery, you have to remove the trim at the C-pillar. For this, you remove the IC Airbag tag and there is a 7mm bolt behind it.It's a curtain airbag that explodes and unrolls downward. Oh, hahaha...sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying.I understand, but what I mean is to get to the TCAM battery, you have to remove the trim at the C-pillar. For this, you remove the IC Airbag tag and there is a 7mm bolt behind it.
For the A trim, there is an 8mm bolt... why the difference?!
Texas P2 owner as well. It’s in an awkward spot. Also, mine rattles against the windshield a bit on rougher roads and the sound is annoying. In Texas, our registration/inspection sticker goes right where the clip is, so while I like the idea, the location is annoying.
Picked up my MY23 two weeks ago and it has it. Hopefully, yours won’t rattle against your windshield like mine.I had one on my old Skoda, it's so useful. Will my MY23 have one when it arrives in a couple of weeks does anyone know?
