Hello folk’s.
So I bought the performance update back on the 31th of march, and since then, I played the waiting game… Impatiently I have contacted polestar a couple of times, but with same answer. “The update will arrive, just give it time. But contact us after 14 days from purchase if nothing have happened.”. So the waiting game continued. Polestar did mention that, they could see the update was pending, but the car still had not downloaded it.
Today was 5 days since the promised 14 days (Damn you Easter holiday), so I contacted polestar support again… At first the supporter told me, that he could see it still had not updated, and he will return with a solution. A couple of hours later he called me back, but this time he told me, that the car already have updated the performance upgrade… it happened with the 2.0 update 10 days ago. But that I find very hard to believe because of several reasons.
1) neither the infotainment system nor the app tells me that I have the performance upgrade. It still tells me 408 bhp/ 300kW
2) I don’t feel the any difference from before the update, at all.
3) I have not yet received the certificate from polestar that I need to show, when getting the car legally approved (DK rules)
4) How come polestar support repeatedly claimed, the they could see that the update was not yet downloaded, and now they can.
The supporter said that it also sounded strange to him, but he will dig deeper, and contact me tomorrow. If he returns with the same answer, should I believe him, or should I insist on them reinstalling the update ? What would you guys do?
